Honrando las voces diversas

Resumen de las conmemoraciones de marzo

This March, we honor Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, celebrating women whose courage shows children that small acts of fairness and kindness can grow into lasting change.

March is Women’s History Month, a time to recognize the achievements, contributions, and strength of women throughout history and in our communities. International Women’s Day on March 8 is part of this celebration. It began over 100 years ago to support women’s rights, including the right to vote and fair treatment at work. Today, people around the world celebrate women’s accomplishments and continue working toward equality.

This month, celebrate history with the children in your life by learning together about leaders who planted seeds of change. Share stories of women who helped shape our world, and talk about how their courage, teamwork, and determination helped grow fairness and opportunity in our communities.
