Wharton FP&A Ceremony in New York City

In August, I traveled to New York City to participate in the Wharton Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Class of 2026 closing ceremony. The event brought together finance professionals from across the country, including peers who completed both the FP&A and Private Equity (PE) programs. It was a inspiring to celebrate alongside a cohort of individuals committed to advancing their financial leadership skills.

A highlight of the trip was gathering in Times Square as the Nasdaq billboard displayed a congratulatory message recognizing our graduating class. Watching that message illuminate the center of Manhattan was a memorable moment — a reflection of the dedication, late nights, and commitment required to complete the FP&A program.

The celebration continued at Wharton’s New York location, where faculty and graduates reflected on the evolving role of FP&A in strengthening organizational strategy, improving forecasting, and supporting long‑term financial resilience. The experience was both energizing and professionally enriching, offering new tools and perspectives that I’m excited to bring back to our organization.

Completing the FP&A program marks a significant personal milestone and a moment of growth I’m proud to share. It was an unforgettable experience and a highlight of my year.

El 15 de agosto de 2026, interpreté una danza folclórica en el Día de la India para celebrar el 80.º aniversario de la independencia del país. Nuestro grupo llevó a escena tradiciones de todo el país a través de la danza, la música y coloridos trajes. Yo representé a Assam, en el noreste de la India, mientras que las raíces de mi propia familia están en Kerala, en el sur de la India.

Después de más de un mes de ensayos y largas jornadas de práctica, ver la visión de nuestra profesora de baile cobrar vida hizo que todo valiera la pena. Me divertí muchísimo actuando y disfrutando de la celebración, desde ver otras presentaciones y comer excelente comida india hasta ver a tanta gente reunida.

Fue una celebración memorable de las muchas culturas y tradiciones que hacen que la India sea única: muchas raíces, un solo ritmo, unidos como uno solo
