Wharton FP&A Ceremony in New York City

In August, I traveled to New York City to participate in the Wharton Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Class of 2026 closing ceremony. The event brought together finance professionals from across the country, including peers who completed both the FP&A and Private Equity (PE) programs. It was a inspiring to celebrate alongside a cohort of individuals committed to advancing their financial leadership skills.

A highlight of the trip was gathering in Times Square as the Nasdaq billboard displayed a congratulatory message recognizing our graduating class. Watching that message illuminate the center of Manhattan was a memorable moment — a reflection of the dedication, late nights, and commitment required to complete the FP&A program.

The celebration continued at Wharton’s New York location, where faculty and graduates reflected on the evolving role of FP&A in strengthening organizational strategy, improving forecasting, and supporting long‑term financial resilience. The experience was both energizing and professionally enriching, offering new tools and perspectives that I’m excited to bring back to our organization.

Completing the FP&A program marks a significant personal milestone and a moment of growth I’m proud to share. It was an unforgettable experience and a highlight of my year.

On August 15, 2026, I performed a folk dance at India Day in celebration of India’s 80th Independence Day. Our group brought traditions from across the country to the stage through dance, music, and vibrant costumes. I portrayed Assam in Northeast India, while my own family roots are in Kerala in South India.

After more than a month of rehearsals and long days of practice, seeing our dance teacher’s vision come to life made it all worth it. I had so much fun performing and enjoying the celebration, from watching other performances and eating great Indian food to seeing so many people come together.

It was a memorable celebration of the many cultures and traditions that make India unique—many roots, one rhythm, united as one
