How Digital Attendance Works
Digital Attendance creates a clear, consistent process for providers, families, and Child Action.
-
1
Daily
Parents check children in and out using a secure code at drop-off and pick-up. Times are recorded automatically.
-
2
End of Month
Providers review attendance, confirm accuracy, and submit records through CareConnect.
-
3
Review & Processing
Child Action reviews attendance for completeness and accuracy before sending it to fiscal for payment processing.
Deadlines and Important Information
Attendance is submitted after your final day of care for the month (typically the last day of the month). Parents must check children in and out daily to ensure records are complete. Once complete attendance is received, Child Action has 21 days to process payment. Late or incomplete submissions may delay payment
Training and Resources
To support providers during this transition, Child Action is sharing short how-to videos created by CCRC that explain the digital attendance process. These videos are available in multiple languages and will be used in the interim while Child Action develops its own training materials.
CareConnect will also offer free webinars that walk through the digital attendance system step by step. After attending a webinar, you’ll be able to enroll and begin using Digital Attendance with confidence.
To reserve a spot, contact your assigned Child Action staff member by phone or email.
