Child Action Celebrates 50 Years of Impact
Child Action’s 50th Anniversary Golden Gala brought together community leaders, partners, advocates, and supporters for an unforgettable evening celebrating five decades of service to children, families, and child care providers throughout Sacramento County.
A highlight of the evening was the recognition of Child Action’s co-founders, Jaci White and Lynn Patton, whose vision and leadership helped establish the organization 50 years ago. Their dedication laid the foundation for Child Action’s enduring impact on early care and education in our region.
The Gala also provided an opportunity to honor outstanding community partners and champions whose commitment continues to strengthen access to quality child care and support positive outcomes for children and families.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors, donors, and guests, the event raised nearly $192,000 to support Child Action’s mission. Of that amount, $20,000 will directly support the Child Action Impact Fund, helping provide critical resources to child care providers and strengthening the child care system that families rely on every day.
As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we are grateful to everyone who joined us in honoring the past, celebrating the present, and investing in the future of children and families throughout Sacramento County.
