Bringing Child Care Support Closer to the Community
Child Action is expanding access to child care support through co-location partnerships that bring services into trusted community spaces and strengthen connections across Sacramento County.
Accessing child care support should be as simple and convenient as possible. Through Child Action’s co-location partnerships, we are bringing our services directly into trusted community spaces across Sacramento County, making it easier for families to connect with the resources they need.
Co-location allows Child Action staff to work alongside community partners at their locations. Families can connect with our team in familiar settings while accessing services and resources available through the partner organization. This approach also strengthens collaboration between organizations and creates more direct connections to child care support throughout the community.
Child Action continues to grow this network with two new co-location partnerships at SETA Head Start Hillsdale and the River Oak Center for Children Family Resource Center. These locations expand opportunities for families to receive in-person support with child care applications, child care searches, workshops, programs, and other resources.
The benefits of co-location extend beyond convenience. By working alongside organizations that are already serving families, Child Action can help reduce barriers to accessing services and make it easier to connect families with the right resources. Community partners also gain a direct connection to Child Action and our expertise in child care and family support.
Each partnership helps build a stronger, more connected network of services across Sacramento County. As Child Action continues expanding its presence in the community, co-location remains an important way to meet families where they are and strengthen the partnerships that help children and families thrive.
