Roy Kim serves as the Deputy Director of Workforce Development for the Sacramento Employment and Training Agency (SETA) and Sacramento Works, the region’s local workforce investment board. In this role, he leads the planning and implementation of workforce development programs that connect job seekers with training, education, and employment opportunities while helping employers meet their hiring needs.
Under Roy’s leadership, a dedicated team supports more than 50,000 youth, adults, and dislocated workers annually through job placement, skills development, and wraparound services. He is a strong advocate for collaboration across public, private, and nonprofit sectors, working to build a workforce system that promotes self-sufficiency, economic mobility, and a talent pipeline that drives the region’s economic growth.
