The 8-hour Preventative Health & Safety training, approved by the Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA), will be held in person from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at Child Action. It includes the 2016 Nutrition and 2020 Lead Poisoning Prevention curriculum updates. This training is required for Family Child Care Home licensing and for certain Child Care Center staff.

Prospective Family Child Care Home providers must submit proof of completing the Family Child Care Orientation, or proof of paid registration, when signing up. Registration is required for the full day on consecutive dates. Class sizes are limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
