Child Action Beyond Our Walls
From presenting their work to pursuing professional development, Child Action team members are taking their expertise and experience beyond our organization.
Opportunities beyond Child Action are giving our team new ways to share their expertise and grow professionally. Whether presenting what they’ve learned through their work or building their own knowledge and skills, team members are representing Child Action in professional spaces beyond our organization.
Sharing Our Expertise
At Dreamforce in San Francisco, CEO Adonai Mack joined fellow human services leaders at Provisio’s Human Services Hub. He shared Child Action’s perspective on modernizing how we serve our community while keeping people at the center of the work.

Our own approaches are also creating opportunities to share what we’ve learned. Carrie Rohrbach and Lindsey Bedford from our Department of Training and Enhanced Learning (DOTEL) presented “Systems and Processes for Successful Training Collaborations” at the Thriving Families California Conference, drawing from their experience building training and collaboration at Child Action.
Looking Ahead
In November, Jennifer Johnson, Director of IT, and Erin Manley, Director of Research and Data, will continue sharing Child Action’s expertise at an Innovation Conference. Their presentation, “Data Capacity Before AI Leveling,” will focus on their work in data and technology.
Growing Professionally
Going beyond our walls isn’t only about what we share but also about the experiences our people gain along the way. Bernadette Moore, Director of Finance, recently reached a significant professional milestone by completing the Wharton Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Class of 2026. She celebrated the accomplishment in New York City alongside finance professionals from across the country.

These experiences reflect the strength of the people behind Child Action. By sharing their expertise and continuing to grow, our team strengthens the knowledge and perspective we bring to our community.
