We are honored to share that Child Action has been named one of two recipients of Child Care Aware® of America’s inaugural Igniting Opportunity Award! Awarded during CCAoA’s 2026 Symposium, The Igniting Opportunity Award recognizes CCR&Rs that don’t just meet the bar but raise it.
Child Action received the Community-Based CCR&R award, which honors a community-based CCR&R that supports family choice and access, builds the supply, quality, and diversity of stable child care options, grows and sustains a skilled child care workforce, informs community decision-making with real-world data, and influences policy to build solutions.
From startup to sustainability, Child Action walks alongside child care providers every step of the way, helping them open their doors, strengthen their programs, and build businesses that last. We know that a strong provider means strong outcomes for children and families. Today we were honored to receive the Igniting Opportunity Award from @ChildCareAware for exactly that kind of work.
